The DeskCycle

Buy now

The DeskCycle is a lower profile unit with a smaller range of motion when compared to the MagneTrainer. Its low clearance allows it to fit under most desks. The DeskCycle makes it easy to get safe and effective exercise while working at your desk. It’s the only bike that was specifically designed for this purpose.

The benefits of exercising at work are greater than just

  • losing weight,
  • improving  your health,
  • and extending your lifespan.

People who exercise before or during work are

  • happier,
  • suffer less stress,
  • and are more productive.

This is the gist of a study performed at the University of Bristol.

Some of the features that distinguish the DeskCycle from the rest are shown below.

Fits under the Shorter Desks

At 9.5 inches, the DeskCycle has the lowest pedal height of all pedal exercisers. It is the only bike that works under desks as low as 27 inches.

Smooth and Quiet

The touch-free magnetic resistance system of the DeskCycle is both smooth and quiet. Most bikes have friction resistance that can be noisy and have jerky pedal motion that is distracting and unhealthy for your joints.

Smooth pedal motion is healthy for your joints, and lets you focus your attention on your work.

Quiet pedal motion lets your coworkers focus on their work.

Desk Display

Easily monitor your performance with the desktop display unit.

Burn More Calories

The lowest resistance setting is  easy. The maximum resistance of the DeskCycle is between 2 and 10 times  the maximum resistance of the other pedal exercisers, not incuding the MagneTrainer.

Highest Quality / Longest lasting

The DeskCycle is built to last for years of maintenance-free use.

The DeskCycle has the same patented magnetic resistance system  and high quality, heavy-duty components as the MagneTrainer.

Bidirectional Pedal Motion

Pedal the bike forwards or backwards. Pedaling backwards works opposite muscle groups.

Apart from the machine, what comes in the box? (ie Desk display)

    • Simon April 30, 2014 at 3:41 am #

The box contains the machine, pedals, calorie counter, desk display kit, instructions, tool for assembly.

      I hope this helps

I recently purchased the Deskcycle and I could not be happier! I am at uni full time with a family at home so squeezing in exercise was getting very tricky. Now, as I study I cycle away and I am noticing awesome benefits from it. I have always had quite poor circulation in my legs but this has already improved after a few weeks and I feel so much better.

This really is an awesome machine and so quiet to use. Thanks so much.

That’s great to hear. Thank you so much for the feedback!

I received my DeskCycle today and am currently using it tonight at work. I work nightshift and sit at a desk for 8-10 hours a night and my legs would swell. Just using it tonight I have had no issues with my legs, it is easy to use and very effective. It was also very easy to put together. I would recommend it for anyone who sits at a desk for long periods. You can’t even hear it working also. What a great product and I am getting fit and will be able to miss some gym sessions during my shifts now.

Does the chair have to be anchored? Or does it work with a chair with castors.

    • Jessica August 17, 2015 at 10:55 pm #

It is probably easiest to work with a sturdier base to pedal from, especially on the higher settings, but castors are fine.

Hi, how do I purchase one and what is delivery time. Thanks,

I’ve been using a cheaper floor/bike exerciser for over a year for osteo arthritis in my knees. Daily use has warded off an operation so I am delighted.
Unfortunately it wasn’t an overly expensive one. My husband replaced the nylon bush several times as it has no ball bearings and often got over heated. The right arm sheared right off yesterday

I am not rough with my equipment but I’m looking for something that is sturdier and durable.
I do not know much about how machinery operates, so I don’t know if magnets is a good or bad thing. Husband said to ask; what is the main bearing, roller or bush – (If it has them?)

thank you for your time. The reviews are promising:)

Hi Mary, The Magnetrainer uses high quality bearings and the magnetic resistance provides smooth long term performance.

Thank you so much. I’m off to buy 🙂

I’ve just bought a Desk Cycle and I have to say I’m pretty happy with it so far. I’ve predominately worked office jobs for the last 10 years, sitting down all day has given me back issues which I haven’t been able to shake. Peddling away and keeping the muscles moving is helping immensely, I can actually work for hours without having to stretch, apply heat or take pain killers.

The device itself seems quite good, the build quality looks pretty solid. With magnets providing the resistance I can’t see anything that will wear out quickly (makes it silent too). The resistance settings are good – 0 is virtually nothing, 8 is enough to require some effort (I use 4).

Delivery was quick too – ordered Thursday night, delivered Tuesday (North Brisbane).

Overall very happy to recommend this so far.

I absolutely love the desk cycle!!! I also run, but have difficulty working it in, except on weekends. It’s great being able to cycle while sitting at my desk, since I’m at my desk up to eight hours a day anyway. Again, I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
