The original MagneTrainer ER a light, portable mini exercise bike that is both Top of the Range & Top of its Class. For ultra smooth, quiet, judder free exercise this is the obvious choice, designed in the USA as an alternative to cumbersome upright bikes MagneTrainer ER is a user friendly home leg and arm exerciser perfect for general fitness, to aid rehabilitation or remedy mobility and circulation issues; endorsed by therapists & fitness professionals.

A serious mini bike inspired by some big bike cousins then redesigned and for a mini bike packed with a host of quality enhancements including increased resistance and superior stability. MagneTrainer has several supplementary bolt-on’s to enhance the exercise experience suitable for commercial or therapeutic applications and with sixty percent more resistance than other mini exercise bikes in it’s class.

What makes the MagneTrainer better?

Magnetic Resistance provides smooth, quiet, pedal motion at all resistance settings and pedal speeds. Non-Magnetic bikes tend to have jerky pedal motion that varies with pedal speed. They can also be noisy, wear out quickly, and often require routine maintenance.

The majority of pedal exercisers do not have magnetic resistance. If they don’t mention magnetic resistance, they don’t have it. There are only two other pedal exercisers under $400 that have magnetic resistance.

Widest Pedal Resistance Range

The MagneTrainer has the widest resistance range available. The MagneTrainer has around 2-3 times the resistance range of the other magnetic pedal exercisers below and up to 5 times that of some of the cheaper bikes.

Wider, More Stable Base

The MagneTrainer has a wide solid base, which keeps it firmly on the floor or table. No rocking side from to side when you pedal. This is because both the front and rear legs are over 15 inches wide.

Sturdy Pedals with Adjustable Velcro Straps

The MagneTrainer comes stock with high-quality pedals. These pedals have ball-bearings and long, heavy-duty adjustable Velcro® straps. Other pedal exercisers do not have adjustable straps, nor do they use ball bearings.

Fastened Front Feet

We fasten the front feet to the front legs with screws to eliminate rolling.

Dycem® Pads on the Front Feet

Super grip Dycem® Pads are adhered to the front feet. This prevents the bike from sliding on slick floors or table tops when you pedal it.

Superior Components

We use superior components to insure that our bikes last for years. We use heavier duty bearings, belts, flywheels, pedals and other components than our competitors. This insures that the MagneTrainer will last for years.

Several optional accessories have been designed specifically for the MagneTrainer:

  • Larger Pedals with adjustable Velcro Straps which provide a much more sturdy pedaling experience

  • Ergo Handles provide a more natural and comfortable motion for arm workouts

  • The Quick Connect kit removes the need for tools to change accessories. Makes it a breeze.

How to stabilize the magnetrainer when using the ergo handles

Find an appropriate table with a finish that the unit wont slide on. If this isnt possible, a protective rubber table cloth can help. It will protect the table and add traction for the base.

It is also important to have the unit at a correct height so your hands are at or below shoulder height and
      above your your elbows.

Use a smooth motion with both arms and select an appropriate resistance that allows for this, that way the unit remains balanced.

What’s the difference between the basic and complete systems?

    • Simon January 27, 2015 at 1:06 am #

The basic includes pedals that double as handles for hand cycling.

The complete includes the same pedals as able but also includes larger pedals designed for heavy duty foot pedaling, ergonomic arm handles for arm cycling and a quick connect kit to allow these parts to be changed easily.
